About

I am a ceramic artist with a background in interior design. I graduated from the KLC School of Design in London, UK in 2014. In 2018, I took my first steps into working with clay, and from that moment, I instantly fell in love with this craft.

In my art practice I am searching for harmony and tranquility, stillness and silence. My creative inspiration is drawn from nature and its cycles, the enchanting beauty of forests, the magic of natural pigments, as well as the timeless elegance of ancient vessel forms and organic biomorphic shapes. Employing various hand-building techniques with clay, I craft sculptures, vases, decorative vessels, flower pots. These creations aim to serve as artifacts of harmony and nature, seamlessly integrating into modern interiors.

In the summer of 2023, I earned my Permaculture Design Certificate. Infusing permaculture concepts into my artistic practice, I consciously shape my creations with a nod to environmental sustainability.

Born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, I currently reside in Finland. Each ceramic piece is crafted by hands in my private studio in Enonkoski.
